(TT-0071) Common European (Safety) Management System Assessment Method

The training course encourages the development of inspector’s competences and confidence in evaluating the maturity and effectiveness of an organisation’s (S)MS. The EASA SMS Assessment Tool will be presented to promote a common approach to management system assessment and continuous improvement of SMS across the different aviation domains.

By the use of a series of examples, case analyses and discussions, delegates will be able to familiarise themselves with the tool, its practical use and the new approach to auditing SMS. We will share experience gained from the field, and give recommendations on how to write an (S)MS assessment report and record the outcome.
